The First Wolflord
Hey all here is another update,
The first Wolflord on thunderwolf with thunderhammer is almost done ^^.
His right arm may look a bit stupid right now, but thats for a reason; in his right arm he will carry a stormshield but also the chain to hold the juggernaught in check.
I also have a request for the readers; Does anyone know a good site or manifacturer where I can get stormshield for adeptus mechanicus?
More updates coming soon ^^

First attempt
Hey all,
here are is my first attempt on making my Adeptus Mechanicus army.
The Rune Priest was easy, since I used the enginseer model from Games Workshop.
But buying something is easy, but making something yourself is different.
I found that out when making the hoods, bionic eyes and respirator unit for my first sqaud. I have already finished 3 models of my first unit of 5 Grey Hunters.
A couple of days ago I recieved my first 3 bloodcrushers and chaos knights. Sadly I still have to wait for another order ( I ordered alot of bits from Wargamersworld.co.uk, being weapons, heads, torso's )

A new beginning
It has already been more then 3 weeks ago since the last Dutch Warhammer 40k GT found place.
I had alot of fun playing the battles, and although I didnt win the Best Army Award, I did win the Great Gamer award!
The GT has learned me alot.
Thanks to the players of Team Aapie and the Fallen Angels, I have learned that I can play a cheesy list, but dont have to whine about the little things. When your having a fun game, it is alright to let little things slip (although if someone is completely wrong, I wont let that slip, it's still a tournament). But all my opponents were great players and were fun to play with.
With my final score, I managed to get the 20st spot (out of the 104) with my Mechanised Ork armylist.
As I said before, I was hoping on getting the Best Army award. Sadly I didn't win it, but this years winner (Eelco Veenstra, Space Marine Salamanders) really earned it.
So for next year I wont be going for the Best Army Award, but I will still try and do my best.
That brings me to my new army idea; Codex Space Wolfs.
It is going to be a Thunderwolf Cavalry army, but in the style of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
Yes Space Wolf Thunderwolf Cavalry is very cheesy, but that the reason I am going to convert the whole army to Adeptus Mechanicus is so that my opponent will battle atleast a bad ass looking army. I dont know if I will be getting alot of followers on this blog, but I was hoping to get a reaction of the readers on my army concept (Thunderwolf Cavalery, Awesomely Converterd to Adeptus Mechanicus.)
Here's a picture of me recieving the award ^^
And proof for the non-believers ;)
That is all for now.
